MARINA, CA (January 21, 2020) – A man in a wheelchair was hit and killed by a car on Imjin Parkway, Tuesday evening.
 
According to the Marina Police Department, the incident happened at about 5:30 PM. Due to unknown circumstances, a vehicle struck the victim on Imjin Parkway near 3rd Avenue.
 
Emergency responders rushed the victim to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Authorities withheld the identity of the man, pending notification of next of kin. Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle remained and cooperated with investigators.
