MODESTO, CA (January 21, 2020) – A pedestrian was struck and injured by a vehicle on McHenry Avenue in Modesto on Monday, January 20.
 
The accident took place near the intersection of McHenry Avenue and Claribel Road. California Highway Patrol responded to the scene after 1:00 am.
 
Early reports show that the involved vehicle struck the pedestrian and continued north on McHenry. The pedestrian, only described as a male, was down in the roadway when the collision occurred.
 
Officials describe the car as a silver sedan, most likely a Cadillac. Medics rushed the pedestrian to a local hospital by ambulance with major injuries.
