FRESNO, CA (January 20, 2020) – A driver suffered injuries after his car crashed into an apartment complex on Cedar Avenue, early Monday morning.
 
According to the Fresno Police Department, the incident happened at about 12:30 AM. The driver was dropping off his friends when he heard gunshots ring out. Then, he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into the apartment complex.
 
Two passengers reportedly exited the disabled vehicle and fled the scene on foot.
 
Emergency responders transported the driver to a hospital with a gunshot wound and injuries sustained in the crash. Officers say that the injured driver is expected to recover.
