One Injured in Long Beach Hit-and-Run Accident on Atlantic Avenue

 
LONG BEACH, CA (January 17, 2020) – A woman in her 20s suffered injuries hit-and-run accident on Atlantic Avenue on Wednesday, January 15.
 
At around 8:40 p.m., police rushed to the intersection of Atlantic Avenue and 3rd Street. Officers found the victim, unconscious and breathing, laying in the street, Long Beach Police Department reported.
 
Long Beach Fire Department paramedics gave treatments to the woman at the scene. Then they rushed her to a hospital, police stated.
 
Officials described the suspect vehicle as a dark blue or black four-door Honda. The model was not yet determined.
 
Authorities shut down the intersection for approximately 90 minutes before it reopened about 10 p.m.
