4 People Injured in Paramount Crash Involving Deputies
PARAMOUNT, CA (January 20, 2020) — Four people suffered injuries in a crash involving deputies at Somerset Boulevard and Texaco Street Thursday morning.
The incident happened at around 7:15 a.m. according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Two deputies were on patrol in an SUV. They were trying to avoid a collision that had just occurred on Somerset Boulevard and Texaco Street. But they crashed head-on into a car carrying a mother and her three children.
The car occupied by the family was completely wrecked on the driver’s side.
The mother and her 4-year-old child had deep cuts and complained of pain. The two other children in the car did not complain of pain.
Meantime, emergency responders took both deputies to a hospital with minor injuries.
