Driver Wanted after Hit-and-Run Crash on Shannon Drive near Golden Valley High School
BAKERSFIELD, CA (December 6, 2019) – A man suffered injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Shannon Drive, Friday evening.
According to the Bakersfield Police Department, the incident happened at about 7:00 PM. The victim was standing outside of his parked car in the 8300 block of Shannon Drive There, a vehicle struck him Drive near Golden Valley High School.
Emergency responders rushed the victim to a hospital with major injuries. Updates on the victim’s current condition remain undisclosed. Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle did not stop to render aid and fled the area.
A month later, Bakersfield police asked for help in finding the hit-and-run suspect. Investigators described the suspect vehicle as a 2000-2006, Chevrolet Suburban or GMC Yukon, White, with black trim on sides.
