Pedestrian Injured in Accident on Pacific Coast Highway near Carbon Beach Terrace
MALIBU, CA (January 13, 2020) – A man suffered injuries in a pedestrian accident on Pacific Coast Highway, Monday evening.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Malibu/Lost Hills Station, the incident happened at about 5:40 PM. Due to unknown circumstances, a vehicle struck a pedestrian near Carbon Beach Terrace.
The victim was airlifted to UCLA’s trauma center, where he is in critical but stable condition. Authorities did not identify the injured victim. Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle remained and cooperated with investigators.
Officers continue to investigate the cause of the crash. Authorities will release additional information once it becomes available.
