One Fatally Injured after Los Banos Big Rig Accident on Highway 152

 
LOS BANOS, CA (January 16, 2020) — A big rig accident on Highway 152 in Los Banos has left one person dead on Tuesday, January 14.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, they received a report shortly after 4:08 p.m. about an accident on Highway 152 near San Luis Reservoir.
 
A driver in a sedan allegedly crossed the center divider of the highway. It left the westbound lanes and drove into the eastbound lanes. As it crossed, the sedan started to flip and a semi-truck struck him. The impact ejected the driver of the sedan. The person died at the scene.
 
Parts of the vehicles flew during the incident. It ended up hitting a third vehicle. That driver sustained a banged up wrist, yet officials expected the driver to be okay.
 
Paramedics airlifted the truck driver to a hospital in Modesto with major injuries.
 
CHP officers are determining to know what caused the driver of the sedan to lose control.
