Driver Injured in Crash on 80 Freeway Involving 2 Big Rigs
SACRAMENTO, CA (January 16, 2020) — A three-vehicle crash on 80 Freeway left a driver with minor injuries Wednesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident involved two big rigs and a car. It occurred at about 8 a.m. on the eastbound side of the freeway. The area is between Northgate Boulevard and Norwood Avenue.
The result of the crash pinned a car between two big rigs and a traffic wall. The driver of the car suffered minor injuries.
Meantime, the crash prompted the closure of the No. 4 and No. 5 lanes until about 9:30 a.m.
