Four Hurt, Woman Arrested after DUI Crash on Gardenia Avenue

 
OAKLEY, CA (January 12, 2020) – Four people suffered injuries in a DUI crash on Gardenia Avenue, Sunday evening.
 
According to the Oakley Police Department, the incident happened at about 5:05 PM. A vehicle attempted to exit Camelia Court when it struck another vehicle at the intersection. The impact of the collision caused one of the cars to roll onto its roof.
 
Emergency responders rendered aid to two women and two children after the victims suffered minor injuries. The victims did not need hospitalization.
 
Authorities arrested the first driver on suspicion of driving under the influence. As per reports, the solo driver was cited and later released by police. Investigators will release additional information once it becomes available.
