MOSS LANDING, CA (January 14, 2020) – One person died following a motorcycle crash on Highway 1 in Moss Landing on Sunday, January 12.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened just before 1:30 p.m. on Highway 1 and Moss Landing Road.
 
The motorcyclist collided with a truck in the Monterey County community. Officials described the vehicles as a box truck and a Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
 
It was not yet determined whether anyone in the truck was hurt.
 
Authorities diverted southbound traffic on Highway 1 onto Moss Landing Road during the investigation.
