Injuries Reported after San Diego Two-Vehicle Collision on College Grove Way
SAN DIEGO, CA (January 13, 2020) – Several people suffered injuries in a two-vehicle collision on College Grove Way on Sunday, January 12.
Authorities said that at around 2:10 p.m. a sedan tried to make an illegal left turn into the center in the 6300 block of College Grove Way. An SUV exiting from Highway 94 struck the vehicle, which crashed into a wall.
Firefighters extricated one victim from the vehicle. Officials brought that individual and two others to local hospitals.
A family of six, two adults and four small children ages 4 to 11, were the occupants of the SUV. Five of them needed more medical care. The mother and two of the children sustained minor injuries.
Officials transported them to Rady’s Children’s Hospital for medical evaluation.
The San Diego Fire-Rescue Department and San Diego police responded to the incident.
