CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA (January 13, 2020) — A crash on Highway 4 in Contra Costa County left one person injured Thursday afternoon.
The California Highway Patrol said they received reports of the incident at about 2:05 p.m. According to reports, the accident happened on the eastbound side of Highway 4 near Byron Highway.
The officials requested a medical helicopter to transport the injured person to a hospital. However, information on the victim’s injuries was not immediately released.
Meantime, eastbound Highway 4 remained closed until 3:00 p.m. due to the crash.
