One Dead, Another Hurt after City of Industry Fiery Accident on 60 Freeway

 
CITY OF INDUSTRY, CA (January 13, 2020) – One person died and another was hurt with burn injuries in a fiery accident on 60 Freeway on Thursday, January 9.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, they received reports of the crash around 10 p.m. in the westbound lanes of the freeway at Crossroads Parkway.
 
At least three cars were part of the accident. One of them ended up engulfed in flames, according to CHP reports.
 
Los Angeles County Fire Department officials said that paramedics pronounced one person dead at the scene. Medics also rushed a second person to a hospital with burns. That person’s condition was not determined.
 
Officers arrested the hit-and-run suspect involved in the fiery crash after he fled the scene on foot.
