Woman and 5-Year-Old Child Hurt in Las Vegas Pedestrian Crash on Rancho Drive
LAS VEGAS, NV (January 8, 2020) — A woman and a 5-year-old boy suffered injuries in a pedestrian accident on Rancho Drive on Thursday, January 2.
According to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, police and firefighters responded at the corner of a gas station at Rancho Drive and Smoke Ranch Road.
Lt. Adrian Beas said a car making a turn struck a woman and her two children crossing Rancho Drive.
The 5-year-old boy had a broken foot. The woman sustained minor bruises to the hip, Beas said. The vehicle did not hit the second child.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities. Officers do not believe impairment played a role in the crash.
