Police Takes Custody of Stephanie Stuart after Alleged DUI Crash in Clovis

 
CLOVIS, CA (January 07, 2020) — The police took custody of Stephanie Stuart after suspecting her of driving under the influence Thursday night.
 
The officers said Stuart lost control of her vehicle while driving on Warner Avenue near Maple Drive at around 7:30 p.m.
 
Stuart subsequently crashed the vehicle into a garage and then tried to run. She left a six-year-old boy alone in the car. Afterward, she broke through a nearby home’s window and tried to get inside.
 
The police officers immediately responded to the incident and took Stuart into custody. Police evaluated her for driving under the influence. In addition, the child left inside the car is expected to be okay.
 
The investigation of the incident continues.
