Deadly Pedestrian Crash on 15 Freeway in San Bernardino

 
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (January 7, 2020) — A fatal pedestrian accident on 15 Freeway at Glen Helen Parkway killed one person Friday night, January 3.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the victim was trying to cross the freeway on foot when struck by a vehicle.
 
The CHP received the report about the incident at about 9:50 p.m. in the southbound lanes. A witness said someone performed CPR on the victim on the right shoulder of the road.
 
Meantime, it was not clear why the pedestrian was walking on the freeway. However, further investigation is underway.
