Scott Bean Killed after California City Truck Crash

CALIFORNIA CITY, CA (January 5, 2020) – A 44-year-old Porter Ranch man named Scott Bean died following a fatal vehicular accident on Monday, December 30.
The incident happened at about 4:30 p.m. when his off-road vehicle collided with a truck. The crash took place in the open desert near Lincoln Boulevard and 20 Mule Team Parkway.
Paramedics pronounced Bean dead at the scene from his injuries, according to the coroner’s news release.
There were no reports of other injuries from the incident.
Authorities are still determining if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. The investigation is still ongoing.
