One Fatally Hurt in San Bernardino Pedestrian Accident on 15 Freeway
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (January 7, 2020) – A person trying to cross died in a pedestrian accident on 15 Freeway in Devore on Friday, January 3.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the vehicle struck and killed a person trying to cross the freeway on foot.
Officials received reports of the incident at around 9:50 p.m. in the southbound lanes at Glen Helen Parkway. A witness said that someone performed CPR on the victim on the right shoulder. It was not clear why the person was walking on the freeway.
A semi-truck and a Toyota also crashed. Authorities closed one lane until around 1:15 a.m. Saturday.
Officials have not yet released the victim’s identity.
