Carlos Cabrera Fatally Injured in Diamond Bar Brea Canyon Road
DIAMOND BAR, CA (January 3, 2020) – 36-year-old Riverside resident Carlos I. Silva Cabrera died after a solo-vehicle accident on Friday, December 27.
According to the CHP, the accident happened on Orange (57) Freeway near the Brea Canyon Road exit at about 10:10 p.m.
Reports said that Cabrera traveled south at an unknown speed. Then he allowed the 2018 Honda Civic he was driving to drift to the right. It went into a southwesterly direction across traffic lanes and into a dirt shoulder. After that, the vehicle crashed with a descending dirt embankment.
Officers found the vehicle in a ravine below the freeway. Cabrera, the lone occupant inside the vehicle, suffered fatal injuries. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
