SAN DIEGO, CA (January 3, 2020) — A man sustained injuries in a pedestrian crash on Ulric Street in the Linda Vista neighborhood on Saturday, December 28.
According to the San Diego Police Department, at about 3:30 p.m., a 79-year-old man tried crossing Ulric Street on Dunlop Street. Then a 2017 Nissan sedan driven by a 51-year-old woman struck him.
Emergency responders transported the man to a hospital for treatment of facial fractures and other injuries. Police said that the injuries were serious but not life-threatening.
The San Diego Police Traffic Division is still investigating the cause of the crash. Officers said the man walked in a marked crosswalk.
