LOS ANGELES, CA (December 27, 2019) — A collision near Lankershim Boulevard and Sherman Way sent a driver to the hospital early Monday morning.
 
The authorities said a big rig collided with a Nissan car. It then crashed into Danny’s Liquor store at about 3:30 a.m. and subsequently struck a street light.
 
First responders transported the driver of the car to a hospital in serious condition.
 
According to witnesses, the driver of the car blew a red light at high speed before colliding with the big rig.
