36-Year-Old Ahkeen Carter Dies after Solo Vehicle Crash on Hillcrest Avenue

 
ANTIOCH, CA (December 24, 2019) – Authorities identified 36-year-old Ahkeen Carter as the driver killed in a crash on Hillcrest Avenue, Tuesday evening.
 
According to the Antioch Police Department, the incident happened at about 5:25 PM. Witnesses claim that a vehicle was weaving through traffic and traveling at an extremely high rate of speed. Then, the vehicle slammed into a tree near Golden Bear Drive.
 
Emergency responders pronounced Carter, the sole occupant of the vehicle, dead at the scene.
