Man Struck and Killed on Vermont Avenue and 108th Street

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (December 24, 2019) – Two vehicles hit and killed a 73-year-old man in an apparent hit-and-run accident on Vermont Avenue on Saturday, December 21.
 
According to the CHP’s Elizabeth Kravig, they received reports of the crash at around 5:17 p.m. on South Vermont Avenue and West 108th Street.
 
The victim walked westbound across Vermont Avenue, south of 107th Street. Then a 2003 Chevrolet struck the pedestrian. After that, another vehicle hit him while lying in the roadway. He died at the scene, Kravig said.
 
CHP said that officials suspect alcohol or drugs as a factor in the crashes.
