Woman Fatally Struck after Las Vegas Hit-and-Run Crash on Pecos Road
LAS VEGAS, NV (December 21, 2019) – A pedestrian died after a hit-and-run crash on Pecos Road in the east valley on Wednesday, December 18.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to the scene around 4:50 p.m. at Pecos Road and Harmon Avenue. Lt. Mike Welch stated that detectives believe a female pedestrian tried to cross Pecos, north of Harmon, outside of a marked crosswalk. Then an older-model SUV her.
The SUV then left the scene towards east on Harmon. Additional information about the incident was not immediately available.
Clark County coroner’s office will identify the victim after they have notified her family.
