Woman Killed after Humptulips Traffic Crash on Highway 101

 
HUMPTULIPS, WA (December 21, 2019) – A woman was killed following a car accident on Highway 101 at around 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 17.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, a 29-year-old Humptulips woman drove north in a 2012 Volkswagen Jetta. Officers said that she was just north of Humptulips when the Jetta left the road to the right.
 
According to the State Patrol, the car moved about 200 feet and then vaulted over a ravine. After that, it struck an embankment.
 
Authorities have not yet released her identity.
 
The cause of the collision is under investigation. No further information was available.
