Two Hurt after Alleged DUI Crash on Karen Avenue and Maryland Parkway

LAS VEGAS, NV (December 21, 2019) – Two drivers suffered injuries in a suspected DUI crash on Karen Avenue in central Las Vegas on Wednesday, December 18.
According to Metro Police Department Lt. Jose Hernandez, the rear-end accident happened at around 3:25 a.m. at Karen Avenue and Maryland Parkway.
Paramedics transported both drivers to area hospitals with injuries. Their condition was not believed to be life-threatening. Officials have not yet released their names.
Authorities are still determining the cause and circumstances that may have led to the crash. Impairment is suspected as a contributing factor.
