One Injured after Simi Valley Bus Accident on Highway 118 at Stearns Street

 
SIMI VALLEY, CA (December 21, 2019) – A driver sustained minor injuries after a passenger bus accident on Highway 118 on Thursday, December 19.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, the multi-vehicle crash occurred 11:45 a.m. on the westbound 118 at Stearns Street.
 
Only two people, including the driver, occupied the Ventura County Transportation Commission bus. CHP Officer Marco Marin of CHP’s Moorpark office said the driver complained of pain yet was not transported to a hospital.
 
A Chevrolet Silverado pickup had major front-end damage. A Ford Focus also showed front and rear-end damage, CHP reports stated. Medics did not transport anyone in either vehicle to a hospital, Marin states.
 
The incident shut down the northbound onramp from Stearns to the 118 during clearing operations.
