4 Hospitalized Following San Diego Multi-Vehicle Crash on 15 Freeway

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (December 20, 2019) — Four people suffered serious injuries in a multi-vehicle crash on 15 Freeway near Miramar Way Wednesday night.
 
The incident occurred near Scripps Ranch at about 10 p.m. in the southbound portion of the freeway. Involved were five vehicles.
 
First responders transported two injured parties to Sharp Memorial Hospital. They took the other two to Scripps Mercy Hospital.
 
Meantime, the authorities closed southbound 15 Freeway for about half an hour to clean up the scene and investigate.
 
The CHP is investigating the cause and events leading to the crash.
