Woman Hospitalized, Driver Arrested after DUI Crash on 68th Street
SCOTTSDALE, AZ (December 18, 2019) – A pedestrian suffered injuries in a DUI crash on 68th Street, Wednesday evening.
According to the Scottsdale Police Department, the incident happened at about 9:00 PM. A woman attempted to cross 68th Street when a northbound vehicle struck her mid-block.
Emergency responders rushed the victim to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. Updates on the victim’s current condition remain undisclosed.
Meanwhile, the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. As per reports, authorities later arrested the driver on suspicion of driving under the influence. Investigators will release additional information once it becomes available.
