LOS ANGELES, CA (December 18, 2019) — 39-year-old Jose Artega suffered critical injuries following a hit-and-run in South Los Angeles Friday night.
 
According to the Los Angeles police, a car struck Artega at about 11:30 p.m. He was crossing Central Avenue at 67th Street at the time. The driver of the car did not stop and render aid after the collision.
