Douglas Munz Killed in San Diego Pedestrian Accident
SAN DIEGO, CA (December 18, 2019) — 63-year-old Douglas Munz died in a pedestrian accident in San Diego Monday night.
The police said a southbound 2016 Cadillac sedan fatally hit Munz at around 10 p.m. He was crossing Euclid Avenue mid-block near Hilltop Drive.
Emergency personnel took Munz to Scripps Mercy Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The police believe that he was homeless.
On the other hand, the 26-year-old man driving the Cadillac stopped after the collision. He called 911 to report the accident.
The investigators ruled out intoxication as a factor in the pedestrian crash. However, further investigation is underway.
