One Dead, Two Injured after Multi-Car Accident under 5 Freeway

 
SHORELINE, WA (December 18, 2019) – One person died and two were hurt after a multi-car accident under 5 Freeway overpass on Sunday, December 15.
 
According to the King County Sheriff’s Office, the collision happened under the 5 Freeway overpass on North 175th Street. The crash involved a van and two other vehicles.
 
A man around 50 to 60 years old succumbed to his injuries at the scene, Shoreline Fire said. Paramedics brought a woman around the same age, who was a passenger in his car, to Harborview Medical Center. She is in critical condition. They also transported another man to the hospital with minor injuries.
 
Investigators have not yet determined what led up to the incident.
