64-Year-Old Lynn Barton Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Harbor Boulevard

 
LA HABRA, CA (December 15, 2019) – Authorities identified 64-year-old Lynn Barton as the woman killed in a hit-and-run crash on Harbor Boulevard, early Sunday morning.
 
According to the La Habra Police Department, the incident happened at about 2:10 AM. Due to unknown circumstances, a vehicle struck the victim near La Habra Boulevard.
 
Paramedics pronounced Barton, a transient with relatives in La Habra, dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle did not stop to render aid and fled the area.
 
La Habra police officers followed evidence from the scene of the collision and located the possible vehicle suspect. Then, the driver was detained without incident. After an investigation, the driver of the vehicle was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and hit-and-run.
