TURLOCK, CA (December 14, 2019) – A 6-week-old baby identified as Ezra Benitez was hurt after an SUV crash on Highway 99 on Sunday, December 8.
 
California State Highway Patrol stated that they found the baby in his car seat upside down on the shoulder of the highway. Surprisingly, the infant only suffered minor injuries.
 
The accident happened when his parents drove a Cadillac SUV south down Highway 99. The baby and his toddler brother were in the back seat. They crashed near Main Street exit. This caused the SUV to roll over several times before it came to rest.
 
During the crash, Ezra was in his car seat in the back of the vehicle. However, it wasn’t installed right. The impact ejected him out of a broken window. The father, Ulizes Benitez, said he frantically crawled out of the SUV and then he searched for his baby boy.
 
Firefighters responded and discoverer Ezra on the shoulder of the road upside down on a bush. He was in his car seat and, for the most part, unharmed.
 
His father, mother, and brother were also not harmed after the incident.
