SELMA, CA (December 11, 2019) – A driver suffered injuries in a big rig crash on Highway 43 near Conejo Avenue, Wednesday morning.
As per reports, the incident happened at about 10:00 AM. A big rig was traveling north on Highway 43 when it ran a red light near the intersection. There, it collided with an eastbound big rig.
The impact of the collision caused one of the big rigs to spin out of control, while the other big rig went airborne. Then, one of the big rigs crashed into Lee’s market.
A tow guy witnessed the scene and rushed to help one of the big rig drivers stuck inside. As per reports, the driver did not suffer major injuries from the crash. It is unknown whether or not the victim was transported to a hospital.
Officers continue to investigate the cause of the crash. Authorities will release additional information once it becomes available.
