Woman Struck and Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Broadway Road

 
MESA, AZ (December 13, 2019) – A woman died after a pedestrian accident on Broadway Road on an east Mesa county island Tuesday evening, December 10.
 
The pedestrian crash occurred near the intersection of Broadway Road and Ellsworth Road. The woman died at the scene. Officials have not yet released her name pending notification of her next of kin.
 
According to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, the driver of the car stayed at the scene and cooperated.
 
MCSO has not yet immediately determined if speed or impairment contributed to the incident.
