Man Killed after Pickup Truck Accident on Corbin Avenue
RESEDA, CA (December 13, 2019) – A man was killed after a FedEx vehicle and a pickup truck crashed on Corbin Avenue on Wednesday, December 11.
The accident occurred at about 6:50 a.m. in the 7000 block of Corbin Avenue, near Sherman Way.
Los Angeles Police Department Sgt. McElween said that a man parked along the curb in his pickup truck started to make a U-turn. After that, he reportedly failed to see a FedEx vehicle moving on his side of the street.
The FedEx truck slammed into the driver’s side of the pickup. After that, it ended up in the front yard of a home, said McElween.
The pickup truck driver died at the scene, according to the Fire Department.
The FedEx driver sustained minor injuries, LAPD stated.
Officials did not release the identities of the persons involved.
There were no reports of other injuries.
