GOLETA, CA (December 12, 2019) – Two people sustained injuries following a rollover crash on Highway 101 along the Gaviota Coast on Tuesday, December 10.
According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, the solo-car crash happened just after 8 a.m. in the northbound lanes near Arroyo Hondo and the Vista Point.
Fire Capt. Nikki Stevens stated that the incident trapped two occupants of the sedan inside the vehicle. Firefighters extricated both.
Paramedic transported both patients by AMR ambulance to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.

California Highway Patrol closed the northbound traffic in the area for a time following the crash. Officials are still investigating the incident.
