Pedestrian Suffers Injuries in Crash after Exiting Vehicle on 15 Freeway

 
CAJON PASS, CA (December 8, 2019) – A man suffered injuries in a pedestrian crash on 15 Freeway, Sunday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at about 8:09 PM. Due to unknown circumstances, a white 4-door sedan stopped in the middle of the lanes. Then, a male exited the vehicle and was struck by a silver Lexus RS350 near Mathews Ranch Road.
 
Emergency responders rushed the man to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. Updates on the victim’s current condition remain undisclosed. Meanwhile, the Lexus driver remained and cooperated with investigators.
 
CHP officers believe that the driver of the white sedan was under the influence. Authorities will release additional information once it becomes available.
