Pedestrian Fatally Hurt in Tucson Hit-and-Run Accident on Anklam Road

 
TUCSON, AZ (December 7, 2019) — A man sustained fatal injuries in a hit-and-run accident on Anklam Road on Tuesday, December 3.
 
Police officers rushed at around 11 p.m. at the West Anklam Road and Centennial Drive intersection. They discovered a man lying on the ground, a police news release stated.
 
Paramedics administered aid but the man succumbed to his injuries at the scene. His identity was not yet released pending notification of his next of kin.
 
Detectives figured out that the man was southwest of Carondolet St. Mary’s Hospital when a westbound vehicle struck him.
 
The suspect didn’t stop after hitting the pedestrian. No one was able to give the officers any information on the suspect’s vehicle.
