WALNUT CREEK, CA (December 5, 2019) — At least one person suffered injuries in a multi-vehicle crash on 680 Freeway at Monument Boulevard Monday afternoon.
 
The California Highway Patrol said the crash involved a Lexus, a Toyota, a Chevrolet Tahoe, and a Volkswagen. It happened on the southbound 680 Freeway off-ramp at around 5:13 p.m.
 
The vehicles ended up in a ditch on the right side of the roadway after the collision. The wreck also left shards of glass on the off-ramp. As per CHP, a responding fire truck blocked the off-ramp at around 5:26 p.m. The authorities called in a tow service shortly afterward.
