50-Year-Old Victoria Morfidis-Florentino Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Highway 12

 
SUISUN CITY, CA (December 1, 2019) – Authorities identified 50-year-old Victoria Morfidis-Florentino of Fairfield as the pedestrian killed in a crash on Highway 12, Sunday evening.
 
According to the Suisun Police Department, the incident happened at about 7:28 PM. Morfidis-Florentino attempted to cross inside of a marked crosswalk. There, a vehicle traveling at a high speed struck her near Marina Boulevard.
 
Emergency responders rushed the victim to a hospital with major injuries. Unfortunately, she succumbed to injuries and died in the emergency room. Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
 
Suisun police continue to investigate the cause of the fatal crash. Authorities will release additional information once it becomes available.
