ENUMCLAW, WA (December 2, 2019) – A driver and her passenger were arrested following a stolen car crash on 188th Avenue Southeast, Monday evening.
 
According to the King County Sheriff’s Office, the incident happened at about 11:00 PM. A deputy spotted a car parked very close to a gated property in the 37500 block of 188th Ave SE. When the deputy stopped to check the vehicle, the driver rammed the gate.
 
Then, the vehicle reversed into the deputy’s patrol car before speeding away from the scene. A chase went for about five miles before deputies were able to stop the vehicle near 212th Avenue SE.
 
Deputies arrested the female driver and her male passenger. They also determined that the car had been stolen from Puyallup tribal land.
 
Authorities continue to investigate the collision. Investigators will release additional information once it becomes available.
