Fatal Two-Vehicle Accident on Downey Avenue Reported in Paramount

 
PARAMOUNT, CA (December 4, 2019) – A two-vehicle accident on Downey Avenue claimed the life of one person in Paramount on Friday, November 29.
 
Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies responded to Downey Avenue and Century Boulevard just before 7:45 a.m. for the traffic crash, Lt. Timothy Milliman stated.
 
Deputies discovered one of the drivers, a man, unresponsive.
 
Investigators determined he drove northbound on Downey. Then he tried to make a left turn onto Century. After that, his vehicle crossed in front of a southbound vehicle that to the collision, Milliman stated.
 
The intersection does not have a stoplight or a stop sign.
 
There were no reports of other injuries.
