THOUSAND PALMS, CA (November 27, 2019) – Authorities identified 28-year-old Robert Brian Grajiola of Thousand Palms as the man killed in a crash on Varner Road, Wednesday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at about 2:30 PM. Due to unknown circumstances, a westbound Honda Civic collided with a white pickup truck near Jack Ivey Drive.
 
Emergency responders pronounced Grajiola dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the driver of the pickup truck remained and cooperated with investigators.
