Two Hospitalized after Chain-Reaction Crash on Highway 41 near Floral Avenue
CARUTHERS, CA (November 25, 2019) – Two people suffered injuries in a chain-reaction crash on Highway 41, Monday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a rear-end collision led to two other crashes behind. At least six vehicles were involved in the crash in the northbound lanes.
Emergency responders transported two people to hospitals with minor to moderate injuries. Updates on their current conditions remain undisclosed.
CHP says drivers involved in the crash had about 10 feet of visibility when the crash occurred, and could barely see the cars in front of them. In addition, they believe that the fast blowing wind and dust was one of the causes of the crash.
Authorities will release additional information once it becomes available.
