Two Women Sustained Fatal Injuries after Three-Car Crash on Beach Boulevard

 
WESTMINSTER, CA (November 25, 2019) – Two women died in a three-car accident on Beach Boulevard and Roosevelt Avenue on Thursday, November 21.
 
According to Westminster Police Department officials, one victim died at the scene and a second died at a hospital after the 4 p.m. incident.
 
An SUV traveled northbound on Beach Boulevard when it crossed into opposing traffic lanes. The SUV then collided with a sedan, forcing the sedan into an iron fence. The two women killed were occupants in the sedan.
 
A third car was unable to avoid the wreck and slammed into the SUV. Paramedics transported the drivers of that vehicle, as well as of the SUV, to the hospital in stable condition.
 
The reason behind the incident is still under investigation.
 
Authorities closed all southbound lanes on Beach Boulevard into the night during the investigation.
