Person Dies after Tanker Truck Crash on Highway 145 near South Colusa Avenue
COALINGA, CA (November 18, 2019) – A person died in a tanker truck crash on Highway 145, Monday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at about 5:00 AM. Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle collided with a filled fuel tanker near South Colusa Avenue.
Emergency responders pronounced at least one person dead at the scene. Authorities withheld the identity of the victim, pending notification of next of kin. Meanwhile, it is unknown whether or not other injuries were sustained in the crash.
The CHP continues to investigate the cause of the fatal crash. Officials will release additional information once it becomes available.
