One Dead, Two Children Injured after Los Angeles Traffic Crash on Colden Avenue
LOS ANGELES, CA (December 4, 2019) – One person died and two children were hurt in a traffic accident on Colden Avenue on Friday, November 29.
The accident occurred at about 11 p.m. at Colden Avenue and McKinley Avenue.
Los Angeles Police Department said that the crash happened after a vehicle ran a stop sign and struck another car with the female driver and two children.
Police said the children, ages 10 and 12, went through surgery for their injuries. The adult victim, who police say was related to them, died at the scene. Their identities were not yet immediately released.
The driver of the other vehicle did not sustain any injuries and remained at the scene. Officials did not suspect intoxication as a contributing factor.
